She is often called The Rising New Oprah of the South. Pam Chatman is a larger than life personality in her job. She is a woman who has kicked down doors and broken glass ceilings to do what she loves and that is empowering women. She is a Diva by trade and a Boss Lady by definition. When she speaks, she commands attention, and the world now knows that after her debut in TruTV reality show, BREAKING GREENVILLE. Raised in the Mississippi Delta city of Shaw, Pam never forgets her roots and the things that have driven her to do what she has done so far in her life.
Pam is an Ambassador of Coca Cola and validated as a Woman of Empowerment. She leads the state of Mississippi and the southeast for Coca-Cola global initiative 5by20 where they want to Empower 5-Million Women by 2020. She was recently honored in Atlanta for The Women of Honor award where 12 women from different states were recognized.
Pam has recently put together a Boss Lady Crisis Consortium Team, a group of professionals who each have a seat at the table with the Boss Lady herself. The team is building, creating, and finding ways to help families and communities with resources and sustainability.
She is the CEO/Founder of P. Chatman Mentoring, Consultant and Training Organization and Boss Lady PChat Business Coaching Outreach, which fosters teaching to women and young girls to love themselves first, to empower them to become self sufficient, to Dream BIG and to know that every woman you meet along your way is A Diamond in the Rough. She uses past family secrets and school experiences of low self-esteem to empower women so they, too, can heal. Through her powerful and strong voice, she has traveled all over the south speaking to encourage women to never give up on their dreams. Pam is known through-out the south to help women move their mountains in their lives that have tried to hold them back from healing and walking into their destiny. Pam is a National Motivational Speaker represented by a pr firm in New York.
Pam is Mississippi's first black woman News Director. It was through this position that she got her break on the big screen on TruTv in BREAKING GREENVILLE reality show. The state of Mississippi has named a stretch of Highway near Shaw in her honor. Pam has appeared on several national shows, such as The Talk in Hollywood. She has been placed in Congressional Records of History by Congress and recognized by Former President Barack Obama for her Leadership role in the South. She is also a member of the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
